A well-established Physical Therapy Practice that includes multiple clinics is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our growing team. Prior experience in Physical Therapy (or similar profession) billing is required. Knowledge of WebPT and RevFlow (WebPT Billing) is ideal. Candidate must be able to handle all aspects of medical billing and collection on site from start to finish to ensure continued continuity in the payment of all claims. This position will start as part-time but has the potential to lead to a full-time position.

Duties and Skills
*Candidate must be competent handling all medical billing duties including charge entry, clean claim submission and retrieval, payment posting, appeals for denied claims, insurance and patient collections and verifying insurance benefits.

*Knowledge of Pennsylvania Insurance laws regarding physical therapy.

*Excellent customer service skills for communicating with patients and other medical providers.

*Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel and excellent computer navigation experience.

*Ability to obtain verifications and pre-authorizations through various portals.

*Ability to work as a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.

*A strong work ethic with ability to multi-task.

*Professional attitude, detail oriented, and very organized.

*Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting (therapy, chiropractic, etc.)

*This is an in-office position.
