Overview

Atlas Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our growing team at our outpatient State College office.

Requirements

1. Experience: Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Licensure with a willingness to learn Atlas treatment strategies. New grads or experienced clinicians welcomed.
2. Skills: Must be comfortable working with electronic documentation, Microsoft Teams, e-mail, and other basic technology; working one-on-one with patients in private treatment rooms; making patient assessments; building and executing physical therapy patient plans of care; and implementing appropriate physical therapy interventions including manual hands-on treatment.
3. Characteristics: Must be a highly motivated individual, a team player, and maintain a positive attitude. Must be willing to work together with staff to help our patients and our community reach its goals of health and wellness. Strong leadership skills are preferred and the desire for career advancement is encouraged. With the complexity of our cases, skillset advancement through continued education courses is encouraged and supported.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must be able to function well in a busy outpatient setting with a multitude of medically complex patient cases. Candidate must be comfortable:
-providing detailed physical therapy assessments
-developing plans of care to meet patients’ goals
-providing manual based therapy approaches in a one-on-one setting
-listening to patients and educating or advising them on physical therapy strategies to meet their goals
-maintaining quality documentation and billing standards
-working with web based electronic medical record, home exercise program, and integrated patient satisfaction tracking
-being flexible to operational challenges and demands that require a full team approach
-working with the entire team of staff including but not limited to: management, physical therapist assistants, patient care coordinators, billing, and vendors
-becoming an integral part of Atlas Therapy and serving our surrounding communities
