Job Description/Requirements

Atlas Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our growing team at our outpatient Altoona office. An experienced Physical Therapist with the ability to work both independently and as a team.

Requirements
1. Experience: At least 3 years clinical experience with Pennsylvania Physical Therapy and Direct Access Licensure.
2. Skills: You must be excellent with electronic documentation, patient assessments, and building and executing patient plan of care. We provide manual therapy so you must be willing to be hands on to provide one-on-one quality care.
3. Characteristics: You must be a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude. With this position, you should be a team player willing to work together to help our patients and our community reach its goals of health and wellness. Strong leadership skills and the desire for career advancement. With the complexity of cases seen, you should be motivated to advance your skills by continuing to learn through valuable continuing education courses.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate must be able to function well in a busy outpatient setting with a multitude of medically complex patient cases. Candidate must be comfortable:
-providing complex physical therapy assessments
-developing plans of care to meet patients’ goals
-providing manual based therapy approaches in a one-on-one setting
-listening to patients and educating or advising them on strategies to meet their goals
-maintaining quality documentation and billing standards
-working with web based electronic medical record, home exercise program, and integrated patient satisfaction tracking
-being flexible to operational challenges and demands that require a full team approach
-working with the entire team of staff including but not limited to: management, physical therapist assistants, patient care coordinators, billing, and vendors
-becoming an integral part of Atlas Therapy and serving our surrounding communities
