Dietary Aide responsibilities include:

Portioning and measuring food items
Following written instructions for modified diets
Serving patients and staff coming thru the cafeteria service line
Prep fresh foods for salad, sandwich bar
Labeling food items in accordance with directions and safety standards
Re-stocking drink machines, serving line, salad-sandwich bar, condiments display, napkin and plastic wear dispensers
Reading patient menu choices and assisting team with meals to be served to patients on unit(s)
Maintain clean and sanitary work environment
Assist as needed with preparing refreshments for hospital functions
As needed assist with the operation of the dishroom
Delivery meals to patient units as needed
Temperature checks and related food safety related tasks as assigned
