Pine Grove Hall is a casual upscale restaurant and live music venue located in central Pennsylvania, just minutes from Penn State University near State College, PA. We are a modern farm-to-table concept emphasizing sustainable local ingredients. Our pantry is stocked with house-made, preserved and pickled local produce which are used in our highly creative and refined modern American menu and served to guests in our historic 120-year-old building, recently renovated with art deco furnishings offering an inviting turn-of-the century ambiance.

Our chef has personal relationships with over 25 local and regional farms and purveyors, bringing a taste of their dedication to the table and reaffirming the direct connection between land and plate. The ideal candidate for this position has at least one-year prior relevant experience, and knowledge of food safety and handling requirements. Formal culinary training is highly desired though not required. You will prepare dishes using the finest ingredients, 90% of which are locally sourced. We have built a reputation for impeccable farm-to-table offerings and a successful candidate will be able to maintain that reputation. You will work closely with and have the opportunity to learn from one of the best chefs in our area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setting up cook stations and stocking them with the necessary prep supplies
- Preparing food on the line, as needed, by cutting, mixing, chopping, and making sauces
- Cooking items on the line by grilling, chopping, sautéing, and broiling to quality guidelines
