The Moshannon Valley Branch is currently accepting applications for a part-time Personal Trainer to fill a variety of shifts throughout the week. Staff will be responsible for guiding beginner exercisers through a personal fitness program.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Provide instructions for how to use fitness equipment while maintaining high safety standards.
-Identify unsafe techniques, correct participants, and suggest alternative exercises.
-Assess clients and prescribe appropriate exercise programs.
-Keep the Wellness Director informed of any incidents or problems that may have occurred within the fitness center.
-Enthusiastically greet members and convey a positive attitude. Develop relationships with members.

Qualifications:

-Must possess knowledge in the areas of health and fitness.
-Must have a valid personal training certification.
-Strong communication skills along with the ability to motivate and encourage a diverse population.
-Bachelors degree in a related field is helpful.
-Ability to be a patient, sensitive, and conscientious leader.

Salary/Benefits:

-$15.00 per hour with opportunities for increases.
