The State College YMCA is currently accepting applications for a part-time Indoor Cycling Instructor to be responsible for the operation of cycling classes through established objectives and other policies of the association. Instructors are needed to teach classes on Tuesdays at 6 AM, Thursdays at 6 PM, and Saturdays at 9 AM.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Teach scheduled class or find a sub in advance and communicate this to the Wellness Director if unable to teach.
• Report to class early enough to set up and socialize with class participants.
• Provide instruction and maintain safety during each class, continuously coaching class participants.
• Create an encouraging and exciting atmosphere, motivating participants to reach their fitness goals. Choose music that is appropriate for the YMCA.
• Inform the Wellness Director when supplies run low or equipment is in need of maintenance.

Qualifications:
• At least 18 years of age.
• Fitness/exercise experience or education.
• Cycling experience.
• Ability to cooperate and work with YMCA staff to provide a quality program.

• Starting at $12.00 per hour.
