The Recovery Associate (RA) functions in conjunction with the clinical and nursing team, assisting
with the daily process of client care. This includes admission of clients to the unit, psychoeducational group presentations, monitoring of clients, communicating client and unit issues to
others on the clinical team, and documentation. Recovery Associates, as a core member of the
health care team, must demonstrate the ability to understand and react effectively to the
unique needs of multiple clients.
